NEW! November 11, 2025 (Our last meeting was held on Tuesday, November 11, 2025 (Veteran’s Day), from 6 – 8 pm at That Computer Store, 275 Harbison Blvd. Suite P Columbia, SC 29212. We had 12 club members attended, and Kevin Cook ran the meeting. Some of the members brought 11+ models, books and tools for Show & Tell. For the Raffle, we had a DML 1/35 scale “Israeli M50 Super Sherman”, kit #3528, PLUS a Meng 1/35 scale “IDF Tank Crew”, kit #HS-002, both won by Mike Roof. Another BIG “Thank you!” to John Sherrer for taking the photos, since the regular photographer was off with his wife to Iceland for their 30th Anniversary.)
October 14, 2025 (Our last meeting was held on Tuesday, October 14, 2025, from 6 – 8 pm at That Computer Store, 275 Harbison Blvd. Suite P Columbia, SC 29212. We had 10 club members attended, and Kevin Cook ran the meeting. Some of the members brought 10+ models for Show & Tell. This month we had a Double-Raffle; (1) an Academy 1/35 scale “U.S. Medium Tank M3 Lee”, kit# 13206, won by Todd Reich (THREE months in a row!), (2) plus a DML 1/72 scale “Pz.Kpfw. III Ausf. J”, kit 7372, won by Rebecca Abbott. A BIG “Thank you!” to John Sherrer for taking the photos.)
September 9, 2025 (Our last meeting was held on Tuesday, September 9, 2025, from 6 – 8 pm at That Computer Store, 275 Harbison Blvd. Suite P Columbia, SC 29212. We had 10 club members attended, and Kevin Cook ran the meeting. Some of the members brought 12+ models and books for Show & Tell. For the Raffle, we had a Tamiya 1/35 scale “M2 Bradley”, kit# 35132, won by Todd Reich, which is two months in a row!)
August 12, 2025 (Our last meeting was held on Tuesday, August 12, 2025, from 6 – 8 pm at That Computer Store, 275 Harbison Blvd. Suite P Columbia, SC 29212. We had 13 club members, Carl’s wife Stephanie, plus two guests Joe Terry and Zach Chapman attended the meeting. Kevin Cook ran the meeting, and some of the members brought 19+ models for Show & Tell. Ralph Nardone provided a short demo on making painting masks, and Jeff Nelson, with input from Mike Roof, reviewed with handouts how to receive the AMPS Research Bonus. For the Raffle, we had a Tamiya 1/35 scale “Matilda Mk.III/IV British Infantry Tank Mk.IIA, Milestone 300th Release Limited Edition w/ Photographic Reference”, kit# 35300, won by Todd Reich.)

April 8, 2025 (Our last meeting was held on Tuesday, April 8, 2025, from 6 – 8 pm at That Computer Store, 275 Harbison Blvd. Suite P Columbia, SC 29212. We had 12 club members in attendance, plus new member Mike Moore attended the meeting. Kevin Cook ran the meeting, and some of the members brought 11 models for Show & Tell. For the Raffle, we had an ESCI ERTL 1/35 scale “M60A3 TTS Improved MBT”, kit# 5040, won by Mike Moore, who then donated it to the Show Raffle.)
March 11, 2025 (Our last meeting was held on Tuesday, March 11, 2025, from 6 – 8 pm at That Computer Store, 275 Harbison Blvd. Suite P Columbia, SC 29212. We had 12 club members in attendance, plus a new member Ben Battiste. Kevin Cook ran the meeting, and some of the members brought 18 models for Show & Tell. For the Raffle, we had a two-fer: an AFV Club 1/35 scale “Sd.Kfz.164 Nashorn”, kit# AF35164 and a Chinese-made “Watch Repair Magnifier Improved Version, with 10X 15X 20X 25X Lenses & 2 LED Lights”, model #9892GJ, won by Kevin Cook.)
February 11, 2025 (Our last meeting was held on Tuesday, February 11, 2025, from 6 – 8 pm at That Computer Store, 275 Harbison Blvd. Suite P Columbia, SC 29212. We had 12 club members in attendance, plus we had a guest Mike Moore (from Greenville). Kevin Cook ran the meeting, and some of the members brought 11 models for Show & Tell. For the Raffle, we had an Italeri (ex-ESCI) 1/35 scale “M60 Blazer”, kit #6391, won by Todd Reich.)

December 10, 2024 (Our Annual Christmas Party was held on Tuesday, December 10, 2024, from 6 – 8 pm at Lexington County Library, Irmo Branch. We had 16 club members, including new members Daryl Frisk and Todd Reich, attended our annual Christmas Party, which was held at the Irmo Branch of the Lexington County Library, in the large multi-purpose room. Tim Darrah brought his completed 1/48 scale Mk. IV Humber Armored Car as part of the Club Build.)

November 12, 2024 (Our last meeting was held on Tuesday, November 12, 2024, from 6 – 8 pm at That Computer Store, 275 Harbison Blvd. Suite P Columbia, SC 29212. We had 13 club members in attendance, plus we had John’s friend Daryl Frisk. Kevin Cook ran the meeting, and some of the members brought 10+ models for Show & Tell. For the Raffle, we had a Revell Germany 1/35 scale “M 47 Patton”, kit # 03062, won by Jeff Nelson, who then gave it Tim Darrah.)

We had 10 club members in attendance, which Some of the members brought 12+ models and books for Show & Tell. Kevin Cook ran the meeting, along with guests Steve and Alexa Miano for most of the meeting. Michael Child brought a poster for the Blythewood Historical Society and Museum Veteran’s Day Celebration on 09NOV24. For the Raffle, we had a Tamiya 1/35 scale “T-55A Russian Medium Tank”, kit #35257, won by Jeff Nelson.)
September 10, 2024 (Our last meeting was held on Tuesday, September 10, 2024, from 6 – 8 pm at That Computer Store, 275 Harbison Blvd. Suite P Columbia, SC 29212. We tried out this is a new location a second time for our meetings. We had 10 club members in attendance. Some of the members brought 10 models, builds, tools or books for Show & Tell. Kevin Cook ran the meeting, and Ralph Nardone gave a great presentation on using UV Resin for lenses/instrument faces. For the Raffle, we had a Tamiya 1/35 scale “Sd.Kfz.222 Leichter Panzerspähwagen (4×4)”, kit #35270 (includes photo-etched parts & aluminum gun barrel), won by John Sherrer (who then gave it to Michael Child).)

For the Raffle, we had a Tamiya 1/35 scale “Japanese Medium Tank Type 97 Chi Ha”, kit #35075, won by Mike Roof. A BIG “thank you” to Kevin Cook for taking pictures at the meeting, since the normal photographer was AWOL (in OH for the Eclipse and then at the AMPS National Convention).)
March 12, 2024 (Our last meeting was held on Tuesday, March 12, 2024, from 6 – 8 pm at the FireFly Toys & Games, Columbia (NE). We had 12 club members in attendance, and we also had a guest William “Bill” Campbell, who decided to join the club. Those at the meeting brought 14 models for Show & Tell. Kevin Cook ran the meeting. For the Raffle, we had a Tamiya 1/48 scale “German Panzer Grenadier Set, Late WWII”, kit #32514 (missing a couple figures), won by Jeff Nelson.)
